St. Georges Church Kemp Town

VENUE

The choir competition and Gala Concert will be held on Saturday 7 October at St George's Church in the Kemp Town area of Brighton, with capacity for up to 700 people. This is a very popular venue for events.
The church can be used by visiting choirs as their base for the day but members are encouraged to arrive in uniform, as there are very limited changing facilities and no secure storage.

Light refreshments will be available to purchase throughout the day from the church cafe and the area is well served by a variety of local cafes and restaurants.

COACH PARKING is available locally, at Madeira Drive, but drivers should drop off choir members first, since the distance from St George's Church would be a little too far to walk.

St. Georges Church Interior N.B. Car parking is extremely restricted in Kemp Town and generally expensive in Brighton, but the area is well served by local buses (#7, 37, 47) with the nearest parking at Black Rock (9hrs for £6) or Brighton Marina (4hrs free).
